High Rockies Adventure

Following our training programs, Rawhyde has long offered a two day follow up ride in California known as the Journey to Base Camp Alpha. The purpose has always been simple: to give riders the chance to apply what they have just learned while it is still fresh. We are excited to now offer a similar progression experience in Colorado.

Over the years, we have seen that many riders return home from training without an immediate opportunity to ride and practice their newly developed skills. Time passes, confidence fades slightly, and that sharp edge gained during training can feel diminished the next time they swing a leg over the bike. Skills are built through use, and nothing reinforces them like real miles in the terrain your motorcycle was designed for.

The best way to solidify what you learned in class is to ride. A purposeful, well-guided ride through varied terrain allows techniques to become instinctive rather than theoretical. With that in mind, we created a dedicated two day High Rockies Adventure designed specifically to bridge the gap between training and independent riding.

This two day experience takes everything learned during training and puts it into practice across Colorado’s high country. It is a natural next step, giving riders the confidence, repetition, and real-world context needed to turn new skills into lasting ability.
